I was teaching randos to pick locks at a bar last night. One of them recognized a thumb turn bypass tool on the table and said they had learned to use it at the #Defcon Lock Bypass Village years earlier.
I had visited that same village earlier, and noticed they didn't have this (-very- effective) tool to teach with, so I donated mine on the spot.
This dude at a bar learned to use a tool I donated 500 miles away.
Those are the moments that make every random thing I do for free feel worth it.

Been working on webhooks for the moderation API...
The concept of “local” in the #brewing industry has been gaining increasing importance in recent years—locally available beer, locally sourced ingredients, supporting local businesses, and so on. Pennsylvania’s #TroegsIndependentBrewing announced recently its deepening commitment to “local” with new partnerships with local farms and maltsters.

the only way to fix something broken is with good beer.
